These are listed as surcharges - This is what you’ll pay over and above what is listed for a Value Transfer onto DVD or your chosen transfer option onto CD. Should you want these transfers performed in addition to receiving the normally resulting DVD or CD, then these surcharges apply as listed. Should you want your transfers onto these miscellaneous formats instead of onto DVD, we will credit you $5 (cost of DVD & case) against the listed surcharges.
Surcharge to convert video files to formats optimized for iPods.
• $10 per 15 minutes of content or part thereof.
Surcharge to convert audio files to formats optimized for iPods. (mp3, AAC etc)
• $2.50 per 15 minutes of content or part thereof.
Surcharge to convert files to web-friendly formats
• $10 per 15 minutes of content or part thereof*
*This assumes a single suitable attempt at compression. This does not cover situations where we have to test compress again and again to get file sizes down as small as possible, checking all the while for quality trade-offs. That type of web compression, as might be needed by a commercial client for a website, is charged at an hourly rate. Contact us for more details.
Surcharge to transfer video onto VHS.
• $5 per hour of content or part thereof, with a $10 minimum charge applying.
Surcharge to transfer audio onto cassette tape.
• $5 per hour of content or part thereof, with a $10 minimum charge applying.
Remember, these surcharges apply should you want these transfers performed in addition to receiving the normally resulting DVD or CD. Should you want your transfers onto these miscellaneous formats instead of onto DVD/CD, we will credit you $5 per disc (cost of disc & case) against the listed surcharges.
