Titles within Slideshows & Subtitles on Photos
You may want to have a title card come up at the beginning of a slideshow, or at different intervals during the slideshow. You can also have subtitles (captions) appear superimposed over the lower part of an individual image.
A good use of a title card is to set the overall general location/event, or use more than one title card to show numerous locations within the general overall location/event. To avoid the chance of a typo ruining everything, we like to have you take responsibilty for this area! So we need you to supply us this title information in a text document, or an email, also specifying where in the sequence you’d like your titles to show.
A good use of a subtitle is to identify people, or occasions within a sequence that may already have a title card.
For example: Let’s imagine a folder of images from a trip to Europe. You want to have us make one slideshow of the whole folder, the whole trip (overall general location). You might have us start the slideshow with a title card saying “ European Holiday 1989” and then because you took a number of photos in each country you could have us insert a title card for each individual country at the appropriate spot which you indicate to us in a text document.. something like..
Please insert a Title card “Germany” in between images 006 & 007
Then you might have us insert a subtitle superimposed over your image like this..
Please subtitle image 009 to read “Porsche Museum”
Alternately we can also accept renaming of the image file 009 to read “Porsche Musuem 009”, or “009 Porsche Museum”, as once we cut & paste that subtitle out of that file name the number will slip back into numerical order for us.. like magic!
Funny Captions.
We can do funny captions too.. We’ll draw a speech bubble or thought bubble, and place your funny quip within! Please note that you’ll have to keep the caption pretty short so we don’t obscure too much of the image.
