CineFilm Old Movie Film

Matchless value, plus meticulous care..

I could not be happier with the work carried out by Duplication Station to transfer my old footage onto DVDs.  Their service was courteous and quick and I was very impressed by the care and time devoted to preserving my precious memories and organising them logically on the DVDs. Thank you!

We offer 8mm, Super 8, Super 8 + sound, or 16 mm cine-film transfers onto beautifully designed and packaged DVDs.

We’ve developed our method to give what we believe is the best value finished product for our customers. Our method includes the use of Hi Def broadcast quality cameras, and a quality film ‘speed-synced’ projection transfer method developed to eliminate any film flicker effect. Check out a sample
here.

Your film transfers will play accompanied by a musical soundtrack (except for where original film sound is present), and will be presented complete with the beautiful DVD menu systems and co-ordinating
themed packaging of our Premium Transfer service.

To our knowledge, no-one else supplies such a beautifully finished product.

Don’t Know What You Have? A Special Extra service...

Most people want their films transferred in chronological order.. Perhaps you do not want all footage from the all your films on your finished DVD... Or perhaps you’d like some footage on a separate DVD for a separate purpose or audience..

If you don’t know what you have on your films - and have no way to view them - we offer a unique facet to our transfer service to help you find out. We can capture all your films and send you a draft DVD featuring a running timecode display, along with whatever identifying details we have from your film’s packaging, and from there you can choose what order you would like the films compiled in, and what names and details you would like for chapter headings, or title cards etc...

This time-stamped draft copy process, a $25 per-draft-DVD extra cost service with our video transfers, is now included
absolutely free in our film transfer service. As far as we know we are unique in offering this invaluable extra - one that can help ensure that your films are compiled in an appropriate chronological or thematic order.

You may also take advantage of the draft DVD to communicate to us the location of certain edits you may like us to make, and subtitles or captions you’d like added. There will be an extra cost for any editing services you might choose to have us perform for you, as per our schedule
here. There would also be extra costs associated with separating footage onto different DVDs for any reason other than your transfer’s total running time exceeding a DVD’s 2 hour maximum capacity.

However, as many DVDs as are needed for your transfer (due the 2 hour content capacity limitation) are included within the cost of your transfer at no extra charge.

We are also able to produce Hi Def masters, supplied on mini-DV tape in the HDV format, though at present we do not deliver High Def on discs (such as Blu-Ray discs.)
