All scanning includes
• very high resolution scans
• manual colour correction by trained operator
• a two-stage blemish/dust removal process
• a gorgeously packaged DVD containing your images as DVD-ROM content, as well as a slideshow, or collection of slideshows.
What We Don’t Offer..
What we don’t offer is “cheap” scanning.. Some operators scan at extremely low resolution so they can get their advertised price right down, but what you end with is a file size that may be so small as to be insufficient to print even a reasonable quality 4 x 6 inch photo.. We consider that both useless and misleading. And if they do offer upgrades to scanning at the resolutions we scan at, you’ll often find they are more expensive than us, while offering less!
So what do you get from us? Great value, that’s for sure.. here’s what we mean..
• Super High resolution scanning (3000 DPI)
• The resulting file manually colour graded by skilled operator
• Blemish removal included - Via our two stage process. We remove hairs, dust, as much as is possible from the actual original media via gentle brushing, then we remove another large percentage of any remaining imperfections using the same type of professional software they use to airbrush the blemishes away in fashion magazines.
• A beautiful DVD, containing both a slideshow of your images on the DVD, as well as your printable image files as DVD-ROM content.
