The 8mm video format was introduced in the late 1980s by Sony, providing a noticeable quality upgrade over VHS and quickly replaced it as the most popular consumer format. For the sake of quality we never exceed two hours playing time on your DVD. Should your tape’s program duration exceed 2 hours, your content will be split at a scene change, and the transfer supplied as a DVD twin set.
